About Me
Kayla McDonald is a classically trained, Los Angeles based actress. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Kayla honed her stage acting skills before making her debut in the film scene. Even before starting her journey to graduating with honors at Kent State University she had already begun her professional career on stage. Since graduating she has continued to wow packed houses and has grown an impressive film resume. She has also taken joy in modeling and is starting to adventure into voice over work. Kayla has been described as ambitious, kind, creative, and plucky.
Upcoming Projects
Kayla has found great success in her 2/2020 weekend showing of 'Jumping Problems', where she simultaneously was acting in one one act, directed the other, and everything else in between! Since then, with the pandemic raging; she has worked on the web series 'Vulgar Fantastico' as an actor, makeup artist, and puppet assistant. She is currently working to get her COVID-19 Compliance Officer training completed so she can continue to find ways to help keep the industry safely flowing. She is also continuing to prepare for her upcoming roles.
